About bubblelevel.org
Bubble Level turns a phone into a spirit level using its motion sensors: a horizontal level on the front page, a vertical one, a two-axis view, a plumb line and a timer for holding a position. Readings are shown to a fraction of a degree and can be calibrated against a known flat surface. It runs in the browser with nothing installed and nothing sent anywhere. The same idea, with a few extras, is my Bubble Level Mini app for iPhone.
Who
bubblelevel.org is built and looked after by Saurav Kumar Sharma, an independent developer in India. There is no company behind it and no team; if something breaks, the person who fixes it is the person who wrote it.
How it is built
Everything on this site runs inside your browser. Files you open stay on your device; there is no upload step and no server that could keep a copy. Drafts of the written guides are prepared with software help and then edited by hand; the measurements and examples come from running the tool.
Contact
